Originally launched as The Wax & Only in 2023, the studio quickly evolved beyond its playful beginnings as its growth revealed a deeper purpose. As the business expanded, the brand needed to reflect not just success, but intention leading us to partner once again for a full rebrand.
Now known as Polaris Hair Removal Studio, the brand introduces a profound narrative rooted in self-love, comfort, and empowerment. Inspired by the North Star, Polaris symbolizes guidance and finding one’s way home grounded in the belief that the body is home, a place to feel safe and at ease.
Aligned with founder Jaclyn’s affirmation, “Come home to yourself. It’s okay. It’s safe here,” Polaris was designed to feel both grounding and enduring.
The Concept
The Polaris identity was designed to feel soft, elevated, and timeless, a reflection of both the client experience and the brand’s deeper mission. Calm and intentional by design, the visual language moves beyond trends to create something lasting.
At its core is a custom cursive “P”, embodying femininity, fluidity, and care. Paired with a classic serif logotype, the balance feels both nurturing and refined. Inspired by Polaris as the North Star, the brand icon weaves interlocking “P”s into a subtle star symbolizing guidance, continuity, and coming home to oneself.
